So What's Been Going on the Past 3 Months

I've fallen off the blog wagon. Every intention to keep this up at least weekly fell apart. It started in February when not much was going on. I thought... what is there to write about? From there it got busy. No excuse, but the USA Today version of recent events will bridge between blogs.

Here is a quick update over the past few months:

  • Tina got a promotion ! After several years of calling on Weis Markets, Tina was offered a position in her company's regional office. She reports to the Region Director and her job is to find funds that can be re-deployed throughout the organization. She has been in the role for about a month and likes it. The biggest chalenge is getting out of the house in the morning. The office doesn't fully appreciate the sweatshirt / shorts / jeans attire Tina was able to wear at home.
  • We took a cruise. Tina and I took a 10 day cruise to the Panama Canal. We sailed out of Miami and visited Haiti, Columbia, Panama, Costa Rica and Grand Cayman. The weather was great and it was a lot of fun. The highlight for me was going through the canal. We got to the locks around 5:30AM (early morning), went through, turned around and went back out. It's amazing that the engineering designed 100 years ago still work as well not as it had then.
  • Baseball season has begun. This started on Saturday (4/18). The weather was great and Evan won his 1st game. (We won't discuss what happened Sunday). It's going to be a fun season.

There are lots of fun things going on this spring so I'll make a stronger effort to keep the blog going.
